Day 1: Arrive in San Juan. You will be greeted at the airport by your tour director. You'll get acquainted with the Old and New San Juan on a historical city tour.
Day 2: We will head down to down south to a coffee plantation that produces some of the finest coffee in the world. On to exploring ancient indigenous ceremonial grounds. Our day will end with a stop at an iconic 100-year-old fire station and the first ever built in Puerto Rico.
Day 3: We will head to the east coast of Puerto Rico, known for its breathtaking views and diverse ecosystems. Our first stop will be El Yunque, the only tropical rain forest in the National Forest Service system. After lunch, we will do a guided tour of a nature reserve where we will learn about mangroves, the bioluminescent bay and coral reefs.
Day 4: In the morning, we will take in everything about the ecosystems, landscapes and wildlife of a natural reserve, including the breathtaking view of the northeast tip of Puerto Rico form the top of the lighthouse. In the afternoon, its back to San Juan to hop on a cultural walking food and historical tour of Old San Juan.
Day 5: Depart. If we have time, we will visit an outdoor market and the famous Piñones, where you can try local snacks.
